HANNAH SWAYZE IS A FILM PRODUCER, WRITER & DIRECTOR FROM LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, WITH A BACKGROUND AS A PERFORMING CLASSICAL MUSICIAN.

She is a creative problem solver with a soft spot for logistical nightmares. Her favorite films include Happy Together (W. Kar-wai), Blow Out (B. De Palma) and Red Road (A. Arnold).

Narrative & documentary works she’s produced have premiered at festivals including the Sundance Film Festival, Telluride Film Festival, Fantasia, Berlinale INVR Space, Sitges, Cinequest, Bentonville, Maryland FF, Miami FF, as well as the Eye Museum of Cinema in Amsterdam.

She produced short film Blue, directed by dayday, which debuted as part of Hulu’s anthology documentary series Your Attention Please, and was exhibited at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.

Feature films include What Remains of Us (2024), Simchas and Sorrows (2022), Caverna (2023), and upcoming Underwood, It Was You, Index: Trace, Peanut Butter, Maybe Next Life, Untitled, and Maggot Brain (2025). She’s produced for AMC, Hulu and TIME Studios and is the founder of ATARIA, a production studio focusing on films and documentaries. She served as the production supervisor for the TIME Magazine ‘100 Women’ Documentary produced by Alma Har’el.
